He was a retired Chemical Engineer with a passion for math and the environment.He most recently was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish. He loved conversation, good food, travel and model trains.Age 33, of Cortland, NY, formerly of Trumansburg, passed away unexpectedly from diabetes complications on January 9, 2018. Robert was a huge Gamer, loved fishing and the great outdoors.Most importantly, he loved spending time with his girls and family.On May 18, 1974, he married Susan Graves at the Odessa Baptist Church.
Arvine worked at Tompkins Community Hospital (Cayuga Medical Center) as a Special Projects Coordinator until he retired in 1996 with 35 years of service.
Robert was predeceased by his grandpa, Raymond House of Kansas City, Mo., and grandma, Pauline House of Mecklenburg, NY.
He is survived by his two sisters, Krystal (nieces Isabella and Skyla) and Lexi Updike, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, February 11 from 12 noon-2 p.m. He is survived by his children, Christopher Mundt of Painted Post, Courtney Mundt of Montour Falls, and Keegon Palmer-Mundt of Corning; his parents, John (Susan) Mundt of Myrtle Beach, and Joanne (Al) Parke of Montour Falls; brother, Patrick Mundt (Alyssa Patton) of Sarasota, FL; sister, Cara (Johnny) Lane of Sarasota, FL; stepbrothers, Shane Clune of Elmira and Jeff (Marie) Parke of Wilmington, NC; and stepsisters, Christie Hennigan of VA and Cari Henderson of Charleston, SC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 5 at a.m. Ralph was born in Tioga County PA, son of the late Ralph and Helen (Burns) Butler. He was retired from the New York State Department of Corrections.
