We’d suggested that there had been a police ‘cover-up’, an accusation that Dyfed-Powys Police denied (see here).
We still think there was some level of cover-up, not so much with the police investigation per se, but rather with the lack of any subsequent publicity about this case.

We were curious about why there had been no media coverage of this case, it being “”, according to the RSPB (see here). The new Blind Date will follow the same format as the original, which was a staple of Saturday night television for almost two decades.Contestants ask three unseen singletons questions to get a sense of their personality.Once they have made a decision the screen is removed so the contestant can get a proper look at their chosen date. The couple then return to the studio the following week to reveal how they got on.
