Summary

The practice sale can only take place if a transferee is willing to take over a practice for a defined price and under clear conditions. But it is also a fact that many practice owners - contrary to the good old marketing rule "The worm must taste the fish and not the angler" - rather choose the bait according to their opinions. This chapter provides clarity about what makes a practice objectively valuable and how the dentist can influence the price accordingly - how the bride can be made (still) chic.
